Bolt pattern chart
The bolt pattern, centre bore and thread for every car in our guides on one page. A pattern like 5x114.3 means five studs on a circle 114.3 mm across.
The most common patterns here are 5x114.3 (57 cars), 5x112 (48 cars), 5x120 (25 cars), 6x139.7 (25 cars), 4x100 (12 cars).

Explained in our guides
- How to measure a wheel bolt pattern, including five studsMeasure wheel PCD correctly on four, five, six and eight stud patterns, avoid near-match mistakes, and check the other dimensions before a wheel swap.
- Hub-centric vs lug-centric wheels: choosing hub ringsLearn what hub rings do, how to specify their inner and outer diameters, and why centring, wheel seats and vibration need separate checks.
- Wheel offset explained: choosing ET without guessingUnderstand positive and negative wheel offset, calculate inner clearance and outer position, and choose an ET using measurements from your own car.
Questions
How do I measure a bolt pattern?
On a 4, 6 or 8-stud hub, measure centre to centre across opposite studs. On a 5-stud hub, measure from the centre of one stud to the far edge of the stud opposite, or use a PCD gauge.
Is 5x114.3 the same as 5x4.5?
Yes. 114.3 mm is 4.5 inches; the same pattern is written either way. 5x112 and 5x114.3 are different patterns and not interchangeable without adapters.
If the bolt pattern matches, will the wheel fit?
Not necessarily. Centre bore, offset, width, brake clearance and fastener seat all have to suit the car too.
