SEAT Leon Cupra Mk3 / 5F wheel fitment

The Mk3 Leon Cupra uses square wheel and tyre packages. Owners often move from 19-inch wheels to 18-inch wheels for more sidewall, but Performance Pack brakes narrow the choice of compatible wheel designs.

A Cupra 280 owner reports using BBS SR wheels in this size without fitment problems. This example does not establish clearance for Performance Pack Brembo brakes.

Width and offset guidance

Offset range

Check the exact setup

There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.

Common width limit

Measure before ordering

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.

These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.

Clearance notes

  • SEAT specifies 120 Nm. Factory wheels use spherical-seat bolts; replacement wheels may require a different seat and bolt length.
  • Only certain 18-inch wheels clear the Performance Pack brakes. Get written confirmation for the exact wheel rather than selecting by diameter alone.
  • The standard 19-inch tyre is 235/35 R19. Some 18-inch packages use 225/40 R18; owners also discuss 235/40 R18 as a close diameter match to the 19-inch tyre.
  • The limited Cupra R and later KL-generation CUPRA Leon are outside these stock examples.
  • Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.
