The second-generation R8 is staggered from the factory, with 8.5J fronts and 11J rears in 19 or 20 inches. Aftermarket setups mostly aim for a flusher stance with lower offsets and slightly wider tyres, often keeping 19 inches up front and choosing 19 or 20 inches at the rear.
Apex's R8-specific fitment. Same rear width as stock with a lower offset to sit flush, and it can reuse factory 19-inch rear tyres. Direct fit on street tyres; 255/35 front and 305/35 rear need extra camber depending on ride height.
Half an inch wider at the rear to support wider tyres, and slightly flusher than the 19-inch rear option. Direct fit on street tyres; going to 315/30 R20 at the rear usually needs extra camber.

Check the exact setup
There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.
Common width limit
Measure before ordering
A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.
These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.
Clearance notes
Factory wheels use ball-seat bolts. Use bolts with the seat type and length the replacement wheel needs.
The 20-inch rear wheel is listed as 11J ET47 by a used OEM wheel supplier and in part-number listings, while one fitment database shows ET50. Check the stamp inside the wheel before buying spacers or tyres based on it.
Front and rear wheel widths and tyre sizes differ, so wheels cannot be swapped between axles.
Torque is 120 Nm. Audi's workshop table lists 120 Nm for all R8 types, and owners on R8Talk quote the same figure in lb-ft.
Apex states its 19-inch and 20-inch designs clear the factory brakes on these cars. Other designs need their own brake check, especially with carbon-ceramic brakes.
