Hyundai Elantra N CN7 wheel fitment

Elantra N owners commonly replace the factory 19-inch wheels with 18-inch sets for road and track use. Moderate offsets are popular because pushing the front tyres too far out can cause contact during hard cornering.

Popular community setups

Starting points for a build. Read the notes with each setup, especially if your car is lowered or has different brakes.

18-inch daily and track

Front and rear
18 × 8.5 inch, ET45 · 245/40 R18

Widely documented on standard suspension. Confirm the chosen wheel clears the N calipers.

19-inch wider road setup

Front and rear
19 × 8.5 inch, ET40 · 245/35 R19

N-cars owners describe this as close to flush. Check clearance under compression, especially when lowered; lower offsets have rubbed during autocross.

Width and offset guidance

Offset range

Check the exact setup

There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.

Common width limit

Measure before ordering

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.

These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.

Clearance notes

  • Hyundai specifies 107–127 Nm in the owner's manual. The torque field is omitted because the schema only accepts one number.
  • This is the full N model, not the Elantra N Line. Brake clearance must be checked for the N.
  • Lower offsets around ET35–38 need more caution than ET45, particularly with wider tyres or track use.
  • Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.

Questions

What is the Elantra N bolt pattern?

5x114.3, with a 67.1 mm centre bore and M12x1.5 nuts.

What 18-inch tyre size replaces the factory 19s?

245/40 R18 on 18x8.5 ET45 wheels is a commonly documented combination.

Do 19x8.5 ET35 wheels fit without rubbing?

Some owners run them, but outward tyre position and reports of rubbing on similarly low offsets make this unsuitable as a universal no-rub recommendation.

What wheel size does the Hyundai Elantra N CN7 use?

Factory wheels are 19 × 8 inch, depending on trim. The stock table lists the offset for each.

What is the Hyundai Elantra N CN7 centre bore?

67.1 mm. Aftermarket wheels with a larger bore need hub-centric rings sized to it.
