Popular community setups

Starting points for a build. Read the notes with each setup, especially if your car is lowered or has different brakes.

Mild 18-inch daily setup

Front and rear
18 × 8.5 inch, ET45 · 235/40 R18

Within the retailer’s documented daily fitment choices. Suitable wheel designs can work at standard height or on mild springs; inspect the front liner tab after lowering.

Flush lowered setup

Front and rear
18 × 9.5 inch, ET38 · 235/40 R18

Documented with Enkei RPF1 wheels and Eibach Pro-Kit springs. Check the tyre maker’s permitted rim widths and liner clearance; a lower ride height or wider tyre can need further arch work.

Width and offset guidance

Offset range

Check the exact setup

There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.

Common width limit

Measure before ordering

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.

These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.

Clearance notes

  • Factory Honda nuts use a rounded seat. Most aftermarket wheels need their own conical-seat M12x1.5 nuts; match the wheel manufacturer’s specification.
  • The FK8 Type R uses 5x120 and M14x1.5 hardware and is not covered by this file.
  • The factory rows describe US packages. European hatchback trim names and tyre packages differ, so use the vehicle placard for the original tyre size.
  • Lowering can bring the tyre into contact with the front wheelarch liner tab. Clearance also changes with tyre shoulder shape and alignment.
  • The 108 Nm figure is the Honda factory wheel installation value.
  • Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.
