Mitsubishi Triton / L200 4th gen (ML/MN, Australia) wheel fitment

Australian ML and MN Tritons commonly use sixteen- or seventeen-inch wheels with taller all-terrain tyres. The original narrow steel wheel and wider alloy packages have different offsets, so start with the actual wheel specification.

Width and offset guidance

Offset range

Check the exact setup

There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.

Common width limit

Measure before ordering

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.

These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.

Clearance notes

  • Torque is omitted as a single number. Mitsubishi's 2013 handbook specifies 118–137 Nm for aluminium wheels and 137–157 Nm for steel wheels; follow the applicable wheel and nut specification.
  • Original alloy wheels use flange nuts, while replacement steel wheels can require tapered nuts. Thread size alone does not establish compatibility.
  • This guide is for Australian six-stud ML/MN models. Some overseas low-ride L200/Triton models have five studs.
  • Large tyres need a check at full lock and full compression; a suspension lift alone does not eliminate rubbing.
  • Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.
