Ford F-150 Raptor 2nd gen wheel fitment

The second-generation Raptor has wider bodywork and long-travel suspension designed around 17-inch wheels and 315/70 R17 tyres. Owners often retain that tyre size while choosing lower-offset wheels for a wider stance.

Factory tyre size on zero-offset wheels

Front and rear
17 × 8.5 inch, ET0 · 315/70 R17

Owners document fifteen52 Turbomac HD and similar wheels with factory-size tyres. They project further beyond the arches than ET34 originals; one published Turbomac build also uses about 1.75 inches of front levelling.

Nine-inch wheel with mild positive offset

Front and rear
17 × 9 inch, ET1 · 315/70 R17

Owners and a forum wheel supplier document 17x9 ET1 wheels, including Rotiform Six-OR, on original-size tyres. Expect visible outward projection and check clearance at full steering lock and suspension compression.

Offset range

Check the exact setup

There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.

Common width limit

Measure before ordering

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.

These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.

Clearance notes

  • Use wheels and tyres with load ratings suitable for the vehicle's axle ratings. The size marking alone does not establish suitability for towing or carrying loads.
  • Check front clearance at both steering locks and through suspension compression. A quoted lift height does not guarantee that a wider tyre clears the liner, bumper and suspension.
  • The factory torque is 204 Nm. Earlier F-150 hardware can have a different thread; this generation uses M14x1.5 wheel nuts.
  • The Raptor's factory wheel is 17x8.5 ET34, unlike the narrower ET44 wheels found on ordinary F-150 trims.
  • A beadlock-capable original wheel is supplied in a conventional mounting configuration. Any conversion must use the correct hardware and wheel manufacturer's procedure.
  • The popular examples retain the original tyre size. A 37-inch conversion needs separate checks of suspension travel and body clearance; no universal 37-inch fitment is claimed here.
  • Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.

Questions

What size are second-generation Raptor wheels?

The standard and optional factory wheels are 17x8.5 ET34, with 315/70 R17 tyres.

What is the Gen 2 Raptor bolt pattern?

It uses 6x135 with an 87.1 mm centre bore, M14x1.5 wheel nuts and a factory torque of 204 Nm.

Will zero-offset wheels stick out on a Raptor?

Yes. At the same 8.5-inch width, ET0 moves the wheel 34 mm further out than the original ET34. Owner examples show noticeable projection beyond the arches.

Can I use a normal F-150 tyre fitment guide for a Raptor?

Use Raptor-specific guidance. Its wider body, wheel offset and long-travel suspension give it different clearance requirements.

What size tyres does the Ford F-150 Raptor 2nd gen have?

Factory tyre (tire) sizes for the 2017–2020 Ford F-150 Raptor 2nd gen are 315/70 R17, depending on trim. Your tyre placard shows the size for your car.

What wheel size does the Ford F-150 Raptor 2nd gen use?

Factory wheels are 17 × 8.5 inch, depending on trim. The stock table lists the offset for each.

What is the Ford F-150 Raptor 2nd gen centre bore?

87.1 mm. Aftermarket wheels with a larger bore need hub-centric rings sized to it.

What is the Ford F-150 Raptor 2nd gen wheel nut torque?

204 Nm (about 150 lb-ft) for the original nuts. Confirm in your handbook, especially with aftermarket wheels or nuts.
