Dodge Charger LD wheel fitment

The Charger has very different wheel requirements across rear-wheel drive, all-wheel drive and widebody versions. Wider 20-inch wheels are common on rear-wheel-drive cars, but AWD models need much higher offsets.

Read these before choosing wheels for the Charger: they explain the offset, fitment and hub numbers in this guide.

Popular community setups

Starting points for a build. Read the notes with each setup, especially if your car is lowered or has different brakes.

Narrowbody RWD square daily

Front and rear
20 × 10 inch, ET19 · 275/40 R20

Apex lists this as a direct fit for the narrowbody rear-wheel-drive Charger. Its wheel design clears the relevant factory brakes; do not transfer this offset to AWD.

Narrowbody RWD staggered grip

Front
20 × 10 inch, ET19 · 275/40 R20
Rear
20 × 10.5 inch, ET22 · 305/35 R20

Apex's direct-fit staggered combination gives the rear a 305-section tyre. This is for standard narrowbody RWD geometry; recheck clearance on lowered cars.

Width and offset guidance

Offset range

Check the exact setup

There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.

Common width limit

Measure before ordering

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.

These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.

Clearance notes

  • There is no single torque figure for every Charger in this entry. Later Dodge manuals specify 176 Nm for base models and 150 Nm for SRT models; use the handbook and any performance supplement for the exact model year and trim. The scalar torqueNm field is therefore omitted.
  • Retailer torque charts disagree with some Dodge manuals, including earlier model years. The vehicle-specific manufacturer manual takes precedence over a generation-wide chart.
  • AWD factory offsets are much higher than RWD offsets. The listed popular RWD combinations are not AWD recommendations.
  • Widebody wheels have substantially lower offsets and require the matching bodywork. Narrowbody and widebody wheels are not interchangeable just because both use 5x115.
  • Some retailers describe the hub as 71.5 mm; the fitment database specifies 71.6 mm. Order wheels and hub rings explicitly approved for this application. Do not force an undersized bore onto the hub.
  • Confirm spoke clearance against the fitted Brembo package. A 5x114.3 wheel is not the correct 5x115 mounting pattern.
  • Earlier SRT8, police Pursuit and individual appearance-package wheel options are omitted; the rows cover the main later civilian combinations.
  • Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.

Questions

What is the Charger bolt pattern?

It is 5x115, with a nominal 71.6 mm centre bore and M14x1.5 wheel nuts.

Will rear-wheel-drive Charger wheels fit an AWD model?

Do not assume so. The factory 19-inch AWD package uses ET55, while common RWD wheels have much lower offsets. AWD requires a separately checked fitment.

Can a narrowbody Charger run 305 rear tyres?

Apex lists 305/35 R20 tyres on 20x10.5 ET22 rear wheels, paired with 20x10 ET19 fronts and 275/40 R20 tyres, for narrowbody RWD cars.

What torque do Charger wheel nuts need?

Check the exact model's manual. Later base-model specifications are 176 Nm and SRT specifications are 150 Nm, but those figures must not be applied indiscriminately across all years and special editions.

What size tyres does the Dodge Charger LD have?

Factory tyre (tire) sizes for the 2011–2023 Dodge Charger LD are 215/65 R17, 235/55 R18, 245/45 R20, 275/40 R20, 305/35 R20 and 235/55 R19, depending on trim. Your tyre placard shows the size for your car.

What wheel size does the Dodge Charger LD use?

Factory wheels are 17 × 7 inch, 18 × 7.5 inch, 20 × 8 inch, 20 × 9 inch, 20 × 9.5 inch, 20 × 11 inch and 19 × 7.5 inch, depending on trim. The stock table lists the offset for each.

What is the Dodge Charger LD centre bore?

71.6 mm. Aftermarket wheels with a larger bore need hub-centric rings sized to it.
