Clearance notes
- Mazda specifies 108–147 Nm for wheel nuts. This differs from BK/BL manuals; the single-number torqueNm field is omitted.
- Do not use the earlier Mazda3's 205/55 R16 as this generation's stock size; the documented 16-inch tyre is 205/60 R16.
- A lowered owner reports rear rubbing with 235 tyres on 18x8 ET45. A wheel dimension alone is not a no-rub guarantee.
- The 8.5J owner example used original 215 tyres; no tyre recommendation is attached because tyre-maker rim-width approval must be checked.
- Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.
