The VB WRX uses the five-stud pattern shared with the VA, with square factory wheel and tyre packages. Wider 18-inch wheels are common, while the TR and tS brake packages require their own clearance checks.

An Apex customer car uses these wheels and 265/35 tyres, recorded as a direct fit. Confirm the wheel design against TR or tS Brembos rather than extending the standard-brake claim to every trim.
Subimods lists this as a common VB combination. Clearance on lowered cars depends on alignment, tyre shape and the plastic arch extensions.
Width and offset guidance
Offset range
Check the exact setup
There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.
Common width limit
Measure before ordering
A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.
These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.
Clearance notes
Subaru specifies 120 Nm for the wheel nuts. The independent fitment reference agrees.
TR and tS have larger Brembo brakes. A wheel that fits a normal VB may not clear these calipers; check the manufacturer’s brake template.
Some retailer guides label TR and tS stock wheels as 18-inch. Subaru specifies 19-inch tyres for the tS, and TR owners confirm 19x8.5 ET55 wheels. Those manufacturer and original-wheel references take precedence.
The 5x114.3 pattern does not make older 5x100 WRX wheels compatible. All four tyres should be a matched set.
Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.
