- Mazda specifies 108–147 Nm for the wheel nuts. The ND owner discussion confirms this unusually broad range; a single midpoint is not substituted.
- Brembo-equipped cars need a compatible spoke and barrel design. A 17-inch diameter by itself does not confirm clearance.
- The 54.1 mm bore and 4x100 pattern apply to the ND. NC wheels use a different hub specification.
- Factory 16 and 17-inch packages vary by engine, trim and market. Check the vehicle placard before replacing tyres.
- Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.
