Mercedes-AMG CLA45 C117 / X117 wheel fitment

The first CLA45 shares its 4MATIC hardware with the W176 A45 and runs a square setup, so the same size goes on all four corners. Most owners either add modest spacers to the factory wheels or fit 19x8.5 wheels at an offset close to the factory ET48.

Width and offset guidance

Offset range

Check the exact setup

There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.

Common width limit

Measure before ordering

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.

These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.

Clearance notes

  • Mercedes CLA handbooks specify 130 Nm. Factory bolts have a ball seat; most aftermarket wheels need conical-seat M14x1.5 bolts.
  • Keep the same tyre size on all four wheels, as the factory packages do, to protect the 4MATIC drivetrain.
  • Spacers must be hub-centric with a 66.6 mm spigot and need bolts lengthened by the spacer thickness.
  • The later C118 CLA45 (2019 on) uses different factory wheels and brakes and is covered separately.
  • Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.
