Clearance notes
- Torque is omitted because the consulted 172/182 sources disagree between 90 and 105 Nm and refer to different workshop revisions. Obtain the Renault specification for the exact car and original fasteners.
- The 172 Cup ET38.5 wheel is not the same offset as the ET45 Trophy wheel.
- The Phase 1 172 used 15-inch OZ F1 wheels; its complete factory row is omitted because wheel width was not firmly verified.
- Lowering, spacers and wide-shouldered tyres can cause rear arch contact. Check the loaded car rather than assuming all 4x100 Renault wheels fit.
- Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.
