Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 / BCNR33 wheel fitment

The R33 GT-R has a square 17-inch factory setup. Eighteen-inch 9.5J wheels are common road and track replacements, with lower offsets bringing the wheel closer to the arch edge.

18-inch road and track

Front and rear
18 × 9.5 inch, ET25 · 265/35 R18

A Driftworks owner documents this exact TE37 SL and Nankang NS-2R combination fitted to an R33 GT-R. Check clearance on cars with a different ride height or brake conversion.

Nismo LM GT4 fitment

Front and rear
18 × 9.5 inch, ET12 · 265/35 R18

Nismo lists this size for the BCNR33. It sits further out than the original wheel; check arch lips, tyre shoulders and camber before fitting, particularly when lowered.

Width and offset guidance

Offset range

Check the exact setup

There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.

Common width limit

Measure before ordering

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.

These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.

Clearance notes

  • Use four matching rolling circumferences for the ATTESA four-wheel-drive system. The factory and listed aftermarket configurations are square.
  • Brembo clearance depends on spoke shape as well as wheel diameter and offset. Check the exact wheel application, particularly on cars with larger brake conversions.
  • No wheel nut torque is populated: online GT-R tables contain conflicting numbers and some purported R33/R34 manuals describe later or non-GT-R cars. A correctly identified factory manual is needed.
  • GT-R and GTST body widths and brakes differ. Do not transfer a GTST fitment recommendation to the GT-R without checking it.
  • Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.
