The DT Ram 1500 changed to six-stud wheels, while the older 1500 Classic retained five studs. Wheel choices range from the Rebel's 18-inch off-road package to 22-inch road wheels, with wider aftermarket setups depending on suspension height.
Mr Wheel Deal documents a 2021 truck on Fuel Vapor wheels and Radar Renegade tyres with standard suspension. Treat this as a specific build, checking liner clearance and tyre projection on your truck.
A documented 2021 example uses Wicked Off-Road W903 wheels, Goodyear Duratracs and a MotoFab levelling kit. Check clearances with the selected tyre and kit.
A documented 2021 truck uses Fuel Rebel wheels, Nitto Ridge Grapplers and a 3.5-inch ReadyLift kit. Verify liner clearance and the kit's backspacing requirements.
Width and offset guidance
Offset range
Check the exact setup
There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.
Common width limit
Measure before ordering
A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.
These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.
Clearance notes
DT is the six-stud new-body truck. The five-stud Ram 1500 Classic and older DS wheels are not a direct fit.
GM six-stud wheels share the bolt pattern but use a different centre bore. Match the bore, nut seat, load rating and brake clearance, rather than selecting by bolt pattern alone.
The factory wheel-nut torque is 176 Nm, equivalent to 130 lb ft.
Check air-suspension trucks through their operating ride heights. Lift and levelling examples need the suspension system and kit specified by the builder.
TRX has wider bodywork and different suspension; the ordinary DT popular setups are not TRX fitment recommendations. RHO-specific factory offsets are omitted because they were not independently established.
Tyre load capacity must meet the truck's axle requirements. Original LT tyre applications and towing duties need the appropriate replacement rating.
Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.

The listed Rebel package uses 275/70 R18 tyres on 18x8 wheels at approximately ET19.05.
Can I fit 35-inch tyres to a Ram 1500 DT?+
The documented 35x12.50 R20 setup here uses 20x10 ET-18 wheels and a 3.5-inch ReadyLift kit. It is not a blanket stock-height recommendation.
What torque do Ram 1500 DT wheel nuts need?+
The Ram owner's manual specifies 176 Nm for the factory M14x1.5 wheel nuts.
What size tyres does the Ram 1500 DT / 5th gen have?+
Factory tyre (tire) sizes for the 2019–present Ram 1500 DT / 5th gen are 275/65 R18, 275/70 R18, 275/55 R20, 285/45 R22 and 325/65 R18, depending on trim. Your tyre placard shows the size for your car.
