Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4th gen / T1 wheel fitment

The fourth-generation Silverado 1500 uses six-stud wheels, with factory tyre sizes varying across road and off-road trims. Common upgrades keep 20-inch wheels for daily use or add suspension lift to clear wider 35-inch tyres.

Width and offset guidance

Offset range

Check the exact setup

There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.

Common width limit

Measure before ordering

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.

These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.

Clearance notes

  • This entry covers the new-body 1500, not the 2019 Silverado LD, 2500/3500 HD or Silverado EV.
  • The larger front brakes on the 2019-on chassis require a compatible wheel barrel and spoke profile. An older six-stud GM wheel is not automatically suitable.
  • Trail Boss and ZR2 suspension and tyre packages differ from ordinary trims. Their factory tyre sizes do not prove clearance on a standard-height truck.
  • Use tyre and wheel load ratings appropriate to the axle ratings, including when towing. Some factory off-road tyres are LT-rated; retain the required capacity when replacing them.
  • The factory tightening figure is 190 Nm, equivalent to 140 lb ft. Check the placard and original wheel markings for year-specific option differences.
  • Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.
