The 180SX originally uses four-stud wheels, although five-stud conversions are common on drift builds. Seventeen-inch wheels are a familiar upgrade, with suspension changes often determining how much width will fit.

Quick specs
Nissan 180SX RPS13 hub and fastener specifications
Work CR Kai wheels and Federal tyres documented by a 180SX owner. These particular wheels are five-stud, so they require converted hubs. Suspension and arch changes were not recorded.
A tyre retailer lists this Gram Lights combination among its supplied 180SX setups. Treat it as a modified-car starting point: check arches, coilover clearance, steering lock and hub drilling.
Width and offset guidance
Offset range
Check the exact setup
There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.
Common width limit
Measure before ordering
A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.
These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.
Clearance notes
Nissan gives 98–118 Nm for wheel nuts; the independent tyre-retailer reference agrees. No single torque is substituted for the range.
Original hubs are 4x114.3. GKTech documents a conversion to 5x114.3; do not order wheels by the body badge on a converted car.
Japanese late-model wheel records list 15x6 ET45 with 205/60 R15 tyres. A retailer guide labels 16-inch wheels as standard on late cars; that conflicts with the Japanese specification records, so its stock-size table is not used.
The 1989–1998 range covers the whole 180SX series. Early 1.8-litre cars use RS13 rather than RPS13 identification; their unverified stock trim combinations are omitted.
Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.

This guide is a starting point, not a fitment guarantee. Specs can differ by market, trim and previous modifications. Confirm all sizes, clearances and fastener requirements with a qualified wheel and tyre professional before buying or fitting parts.
