Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X CZ4A wheel fitment

The Evo X starts with 18-inch square wheels and is commonly fitted with wider square setups for road and track use. Nine-and-a-half-inch wheels are well documented, while 10.5-inch track wheels call for closer attention to camber and clearance.

18-inch road and track setup

Front and rear
18 × 9.5 inch, ET22 · 265/35 R18

Apex recommends this wider fitment with additional negative camber typically required for 265 tyres. Its 255/35 alternative is less demanding. Brake clearance is confirmed only for the specified Apex designs.

18-inch wider track setup

Front and rear
18 × 10.5 inch, ET22 · 275/35 R18

Apex documents this square track combination with increased negative camber. Check clearance through full suspension travel and against the particular coilovers.

Width and offset guidance

Offset range

Check the exact setup

There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.

Common width limit

Measure before ordering

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.

These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.

Clearance notes

  • Mitsubishi’s owner manual gives 88–108 Nm, consistent with the nominal 98 ±10 Nm workshop value reproduced in the Air Lift installation instructions. The displayed 98 Nm is that nominal value.
  • The original flat-seat alloy-wheel nuts must not be used with wheels requiring a 60-degree tapered seat. The cited Apex wheels need the appropriate aftermarket nuts.
  • Apex’s aftermarket centre bore requires 73.1-to-67.1 mm rings for the listed designs. Other wheel brands may have different bores.
  • Use matched tyres across all four wheels. The wider setups are not a universal no-rub limit for standard bodywork.
  • Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.
