Questions

What bolt pattern does BMW use?

It depends on the model. 5x120 is the most common in our guides (15 of 20), followed by 5x112. Look up the exact generation in the chart.

Do all BMW wheels fit all BMW cars?

No. Even with the same bolt pattern, centre bore, offset, width, brake clearance and fastener seat differ between models. Compare both cars' guides before swapping wheels.

What is the wheel torque for BMW?

Between 100 and 140 Nm (74 to 103 lb-ft) across the models in our guides. Use the figure for your exact car and confirm it in the handbook.

What lug bolt size does BMW use?

The threads in our BMW guides are M12x1.5, M14x1.25. Seat type (conical, ball or flat) matters as much as the thread; check it against your wheels.
