The T6 Ranger left the factory on 16, 17 or 18-inch wheels, all at a high ET55 offset. Owners usually move to 17-inch wheels with a much lower offset and a taller all-terrain tyre, from 265/70 R17 on a standard truck to 285/70 R17 with a levelling kit or lift.

Ford Ranger T6 (PX/PX II/PX III) hub and fastener specifications
ThreePiece documents a 2020 North American Ranger, which uses the same 6x139.7 hub and ET55 factory wheels, on 17x8.5 ET25 wheels with 285/70 R17 tyres at standard height, without spacers, trimming or rubbing.
ThreePiece documents 18x8.5 ET25 wheels with 265/70 R18 tyres on a Ranger with a ReadyLift kit, without spacers or fender changes.

Check the exact setup
There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.
Common width limit
Measure before ordering
A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.
These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.
Clearance notes
This guide covers the 2011–2022 PX, PX II and PX III Ranger and the related 2019–2023 North American Ranger. The later Ranger and the Ranger Raptor are covered separately.
Factory wheels are ET55. Moving to ET20 or ET25 pushes the tyre out by roughly 30 to 35 mm per side, which is what makes room for a wider tyre but also brings it closer to the front crash bars, mudflaps and arch liners at full lock.
Larger tyres on a standard-height truck are most likely to touch the front crash bars and inner liners at full lock or on compression. Check with the steering on the stops and the suspension loaded.
Wheel nuts are M12x1.5. Match the nut seat to the replacement wheel; factory nuts may not suit aftermarket conical seats.
We have not confirmed Ford's wheel-nut torque for the PX range from a Ford source. Use the figure in the owner's handbook.
Some markets, including Australia, limit how far tyre diameter and wheel track can change without engineering approval. Check the local rules before fitting a 33-inch tyre.
Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.

What offset are factory Ranger wheels?+
The factory 16, 17 and 18-inch wheels are all ET55. Most aftermarket wheels for the Ranger are much lower, typically ET20 to ET30.
Will 285/70 R17 tyres fit a standard-height Ranger?+
They have been documented on 17x8.5 ET25 wheels at standard height without rubbing, but the result depends on the tyre, the crash bars and full-lock clearance. A levelling kit gives more margin.
Do Hilux wheels fit a PX Ranger?+
The 6x139.7 drilling matches, but the Hilux bore is 106.1 mm against the Ranger's 93.1 mm, so the wheel will need a hub ring to be hub-centric, and the offset and load rating still need checking.
What size tyres does the Ford Ranger T6 (PX/PX II/PX III) have?+
Factory tyre (tire) sizes for the 2011–2022 Ford Ranger T6 (PX/PX II/PX III) are 255/70 R16, 265/65 R17 and 265/60 R18, depending on trim. Your tyre placard shows the size for your car.
What wheel size does the Ford Ranger T6 (PX/PX II/PX III) use?+
Factory wheels are 16 × 7 inch, 17 × 8 inch and 18 × 8 inch, depending on trim. The stock table lists the offset for each.
What is the Ford Ranger T6 (PX/PX II/PX III) centre bore?+
93.1 mm. Aftermarket wheels with a larger bore need hub-centric rings sized to it.
