Ford Mustang Mach-E 1st gen wheel fitment

The Mach-E came on 18, 19 or 20-inch wheels depending on trim, all 7 or 8 inches wide at a high ET47 offset, so the factory wheels sit well inside the arches. Owners usually fit a wider rim at a lower offset to fill the arches, and 20 inches is the most common upgrade. Bigger wheels and wider tyres cost some range, so many owners keep the factory tyre size.

Front and rear
22 × 9.5 inch, ET44 · 265/35 R22

Vossen HF-5 wheels on a 2023 Premium in Three Piece's guide, with no rubbing even fully loaded. The tyre is about 2.4% taller than stock, so the speedometer reads slightly low.

Width and offset guidance

Offset range

Check the exact setup

There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.

Common width limit

Measure before ordering

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.

These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.

Clearance notes

  • The Mach-E uses 5x108 with a 63.4 mm hub. Most aftermarket wheels in this pattern have a larger bore and need hub-centric rings, for example 72.6 to 63.4 mm.
  • Wheel nuts are M14x1.5. Aftermarket wheels usually need conical-seat nuts rather than the factory nuts.
  • Ford's handbook gives 150 lb ft (about 203 Nm) for the wheel nuts, which is higher than many cars, so check your torque wrench reaches it.
  • Three Piece reports that lowering by more than about 2 inches on coilovers reaches the factory bump stops and risks scraping the underside battery.
  • Larger diameters and wider tyres reduce range. Keeping the factory tyre size on a new wheel limits the loss.
  • Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.

Questions

What is the Mustang Mach-E bolt pattern?

5x108, with a 63.4 mm centre bore and M14x1.5 wheel nuts. It is not the same as the 5x114.3 petrol Mustang.
