The JZX110 was the last Mark II with the 1JZ-GTE, and the turbocharged Grande iR-V is the grade most people modify. It came on staggered 17-inch wheels, and owners in Japan commonly fit staggered 18s that sit closer to the arches without needing wide bodywork.
Wheel Garage, a tyre shop in Okinawa, documents fitting 18x8.5 ET38 and 18x9.5 ET35 wheels with 235/40 R18 tyres to a JZX110 Mark II. The post gives one tyre size for the car and does not mention arch work.
An owner build featured in Cartune's JZX110 wheel round-up runs these sizes and says they chose them to sit about 2 cm inside the arches, with the ride height raised 1 cm front and rear.
Width and offset guidance
Offset range
Check the exact setup
There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.
Common width limit
Measure before ordering
A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.
These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.
Clearance notes
The Grande iR-V is staggered from the factory: 17x7 ET50 front with 215/45 R17 and 17x7.5 ET50 rear with 225/45 R17. Some databases list a single 17-inch size, which leaves out the wider rear.
The Fortuna Yamaha Power special edition of the iR-V came on 225/40 ZR18 front and 255/35 ZR18 rear tyres, so 18-inch staggered sizes have a factory precedent.
A drift JZX110 featured by Web Option runs 19x9 ET24 front and 19x10 ET36 rear with 225/35 R19 and 235/35 R19 tyres, but it also has aero front fenders and steering-angle knuckles. Do not expect that front offset to clear standard wings.
The hub bore is 60.1 mm and the wheel nuts are M12x1.5. Wheels with a larger bore need hub-centric rings.
We have not confirmed a factory wheel-nut torque for this generation. Use the figure in the owner's handbook or service manual.
