Toyota Camry XV70 wheel fitment

The XV70 Camry came on 16 to 19-inch wheels depending on grade, with the sporty XSE on 19x8s and the TRD on wider 19x8.5s over larger front brakes. Most wheel changes are 18 or 19-inch upgrades on four-cylinder and hybrid cars, so the main things to check are offset and, on TRD cars, brake clearance.

Width and offset guidance

Offset range

Check the exact setup

There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.

Common width limit

Measure before ordering

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.

These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.

Clearance notes

  • Every XV70 Camry uses 5x114.3 with a 60.1 mm centre bore and M12x1.5 wheel nuts, torqued to 103 Nm. Most aftermarket wheels have a larger bore and need hub-centric rings.
  • The TRD has 12.9-inch front discs with twin-piston calipers, against 12-inch discs on other grades, and sits about 15 mm lower on its own springs. Check that any wheel clears the TRD calipers, and do not assume 16 or 17-inch wheels will.
  • Fitment databases list the 19x8.5 wheel at ET45. Launch coverage describes the TRD wheel as half an inch wider than the XSE's 19x8, but we have not seen its offset in Toyota's own material.
  • The 16, 17, 18 and 19-inch factory tyres are all within about 1.5% of each other in diameter, so moving between factory sizes keeps the speedometer close.
  • We have not yet confirmed owner-documented aftermarket setups for this generation, so none are listed here.
  • Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.

Can I fit 19-inch XSE wheels to a Camry LE?

They share the bolt pattern and bore, and the 235/40 R19 tyre is within about 1% of the diameter of the LE's 215/55 R17, so the factory XSE wheel and tyre is a like-for-like upgrade.
