The 981 Cayman came on staggered 18-inch wheels, with 19s on the Cayman S, 20-inch options across the range and a dedicated 20-inch set for the GT4. Road owners often fit 19 or 20-inch aftermarket wheels at slightly lower offsets than stock, while some track owners go back to 18s, including earlier 987 wheels.

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.
These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.
