Nissan Laurel C35 wheel fitment

The C35 Laurel is an RB-engined saloon, mostly rear-drive, from the same era as the R34 Skyline, and the turbocharged Club S is the version most often built for drift and street use. Factory wheels are small and sit at ET40, so owners usually fit 18s and find the rear has more room than the front.

A street-driven C35 owner on the Driftworks forum runs 18x8 and 18x9 wheels at about ET35 with these tyres, and adds 25 mm spacers to fill the arches. The same poster says a car with rolled arches could take 9J front and 10J rear.

Width and offset guidance

Offset range

Check the exact setup

There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.

Common width limit

Measure before ordering

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.

These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.

Clearance notes

  • The popular setup is listed without spacers. Owners on ET35 18s still add large spacers to reach the arches, which suggests the wheel itself sits well inside them.
  • On the Driftworks forum, an owner who ran 17x9 ET13 on all four corners says the front poked out by about 10 mm.
  • Owners describe the front wings as tight. A drift car on 18x9.5 ET12 with 225/40 R18 tyres needed extended lower arms and a lot of negative camber, and another on 19x10 ET-11 rubbed on the side skirts even with about 10 degrees of camber.
  • Lowering quickly adds rear negative camber, and owners recommend adjustable rear camber arms. The bodywork is quite slab-sided, so large camber angles look out of place.
  • The hub bore is 66.1 mm and the wheel nuts are M12x1.25, the finer Nissan thread. Toyota-thread M12x1.5 nuts will not fit.
  • We have not confirmed a factory wheel-nut torque for this generation. Use the figure in the owner's handbook or service manual.
  • Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.
