The rear-wheel-drive Genesis Coupe came with staggered 18 or 19-inch wheels, the 19s going on the Brembo-equipped grades. Owners often move to wider staggered 19s on coilovers, and the 5x114.3 pattern opens up a large choice of Japanese and aftermarket wheels.
Starting points for a build. Read the notes with each setup, especially if your car is lowered or has different brakes.
Square 18x8.5 at a factory-like offset
Front and rear
18 × 8.5 inch, ET33
Threepiece's Genesis Coupe guide shows a BK1 3.8 Track on 18x8.5 ET33 all round at standard ride height, with no spacers and no rubbing. The guide gives two different tyre sizes for this car, so we have left the tyre out.
A 2014 3.8 R-Spec in the same Threepiece guide runs 19x9.5 ET22 front and 19x10.5 ET22 rear on stiffly sprung coilovers, with no rubbing reported. This is the most aggressive setup here without arch work.
Width and offset guidance
Offset range
Check the exact setup
There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.
Common width limit
Measure before ordering
A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.
These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.
Clearance notes
Every factory setup is staggered, with a wider rear wheel and tyre, so tyres cannot be rotated front to rear.
Brembo-equipped cars came on 19s. Some 18-inch designs clear the Brembos, but check the wheel maker's brake template; Threepiece advises against 17s.
Sources disagree on the hub bore, giving 66.7 mm or 67.1 mm, so measure the hub before ordering hub-centric rings.
A BK1 R-Spec in Threepiece's guide on square 18x9.5 ET22 wheels needed a slight roll of the arch lip once lowered.
Owners on 20x8.5 ET25 front and 20x10 ET25 rear expect to remove the arch liners. Widebody cars on 18x11 and 18x13 negative-offset wheels use overfenders and extra camber, and can still touch at full lock.
Factory Nissan 350Z wheels fit over the Genesis Brembos, but Threepiece recommends 10–25 mm spacers with them.
We have not confirmed Hyundai's wheel-nut torque. Threepiece quotes 74 lb-ft (about 100 Nm); check the owner's manual.

5x114.3 with M12x1.5 wheel nuts. Sources quote a hub bore of either 66.7 mm or 67.1 mm, so measure before buying rings.
What size are the factory Genesis Coupe wheels?+
Non-Brembo cars have 18x7.5 front and 18x8 rear with 225/45 R18 and 245/45 R18 tyres. Brembo cars have 19x8 front and 19x8.5 rear with 225/40 R19 and 245/40 R19. Offsets are ET33 or ET35 on the BK1 and ET30 to ET34 on the facelift.
Do BK1 wheels fit a BK2 facelift Genesis Coupe?+
Yes. Both use 5x114.3 and very similar widths and offsets. Hubcap Haven lists the facelift wheels at ET32 against ET33 to ET35 for the earlier car.
Will 350Z wheels fit a Genesis Coupe?+
Factory 350Z wheels share the 5x114.3 pattern and clear the Genesis Brembos, but Threepiece recommends 10–25 mm spacers and notes the centre bore differs slightly.
What is a common no-rub staggered setup on coilovers?+
19x9.5 front with 225/40 R19 or 245/35 R19 and 19x10.5 rear with 255/35 R19 or 275/35 R19, at ET22 to ET37, as run by the Track and R-Spec cars in Threepiece's guide.
What size tyres does the Hyundai Genesis Coupe BK have?+

What wheel size does the Hyundai Genesis Coupe BK use?+
