Infiniti G37 V36 wheel fitment

The G37 was sold as a coupe, saloon and convertible, on 17, 18 or 19-inch wheels, with staggered sizes on Sport models. Owners mostly move to 19-inch wheels, either square on the factory suspension or wider staggered sets with lowering springs or coilovers, and the coupe has a little more room in the arches than the saloon.

Popular community setups

19-inch square on standard suspension

Front and rear
19 × 9 inch, ET32 · 245/40 R19

ThreePiece's G37 build guide shows a 2009 G37x saloon on TSW 19x9 ET32 wheels and 245/40 R19 tyres all round, on the standard suspension with no spacers and no rubbing reported.

19-inch staggered on lowering springs

Front
19 × 9.5 inch, ET30 · 255/40 R19
Rear
19 × 10.5 inch, ET30 · 275/35 R19

A Sport coupe in the same guide runs Work 19x9.5 ET30 front and 19x10.5 ET30 rear wheels on Swift lowering springs, with about 0.8 degrees of negative camber at the front and 2 at the rear. The wheels clear the Akebono brakes without spacers.

19-inch staggered saloon

Front
19 × 9 inch, ET35 · 245/40 R19
Rear
19 × 9.5 inch, ET50 · 275/35 R19

MotoIQ's project G37 saloon settled on Advan RZII 19x9 ET35 front and 19x9.5 ET50 rear wheels with 245/40 R19 and 275/35 R19 tyres. A 19x10 ET35 rear was tried first, but the tyre stood out past the rear arch even with 1.5 degrees of negative camber.

18-inch square on the Sport suspension

Front and rear
18 × 8.5 inch, ET38 · 245/45 R18

ThreePiece's guide shows a saloon on Volk TE37 Saga 18x8.5 ET38 wheels with 245/45 R18 tyres on the factory Sport suspension, with no arch work and no spacers needed to clear the Akebono calipers.

Width and offset guidance

Offset range

Check the exact setup

There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.

Common width limit

Measure before ordering

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.

These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.

Clearance notes

  • All G37s use 5x114.3 with a 66.1 mm hub and M12x1.25 wheel nuts. Wheels with a 73.1 mm bore need 73.1 to 66.1 mm hub-centric rings.
  • The coupe's arches are wider than the saloon's, by roughly 13 mm at the front and 25 mm at the rear according to ThreePiece, so a saloon setup will sit further inside a coupe's arches.
  • Sport models have Akebono brakes. The 18 and 19-inch builds listed here clear them without spacers, but check the wheel maker's brake template for other designs.
  • Wider setups need work: a 19x10.5 ET23 saloon setup still rubbed slightly on coilovers with rolled arches, and 19x10.5 at around ET12 to ET15 needs rolled or pulled arches and three degrees or more of negative camber.
  • Base saloons came on 17-inch wheels with 225/55 R17 tyres, and non-Sport coupes on 18s with 225/50 R18. We have not confirmed the widths and offsets of those wheels.
  • We have not confirmed Infiniti's wheel-nut torque for the G37 from a source we could check. Use the figure in the owner's manual or service manual.
  • Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.

Questions

What is the G37 bolt pattern?

5x114.3, with a 66.1 mm centre bore and M12x1.25 wheel nuts, for the coupe, saloon and convertible.

What are the factory G37 Sport wheel sizes?

The coupe and convertible Sport have 19x8.5 ET43 front and 19x9 ET45 rear wheels, with 225/45 R19 and 245/40 R19 tyres. The saloon Sport has 18x7.5 ET45 front and 18x8.5 ET50 rear, with 225/50 R18 and 245/45 R18.

Can I run a square setup on a G37?

Yes. A 19x9 ET32 wheel with 245/40 R19 tyres all round has been documented on a standard-height G37x saloon without rubbing. Square setups let you rotate tyres front to rear.

Will G37 coupe wheels fit the saloon?

They bolt on, but the saloon's arches are narrower, so a coupe's rear wheel and tyre can sit further out than you expect. Going the other way, saloon wheels look tucked on a coupe.

What size tyres does the Infiniti G37 V36 have?

Factory tyre (tire) sizes for the 2008–2013 Infiniti G37 V36 are 225/45 R19, 245/40 R19, 225/50 R18 and 245/45 R18, depending on trim, with wider rears on staggered setups. Your tyre placard shows the size for your car.

What is the Infiniti G37 V36 centre bore?

66.1 mm. Aftermarket wheels with a larger bore need hub-centric rings sized to it.
