The second-generation GS, sold in Japan as the Toyota Aristo, came on 16 or 17-inch wheels with a high ET50 offset that leaves the wheels sitting well inside the arches. Owners chasing the VIP look usually move to staggered 19 or 20-inch wheels with offsets in the mid-30s to low-40s, and wider fitments than that tend to need rolled or shaved arches.

Quick specs
Lexus GS / Toyota Aristo S160 hub and fastener specifications
The ClubLexus 2GS wheel fitment guide lists 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 at ET38 as a no-fender-work setup, and its author ran Volk AV3s in these sizes without rubbing. The tyre sizes are the ones the guide pairs with these widths.
Owners in a ClubLexus GS300 thread report 20x8.5 ET35 front and 20x10 ET43 rear on 245/30 and 275/30 tyres fitting without modifications, one of them lowered on Tein coilovers.

Check the exact setup
There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.
Common width limit
Measure before ordering
A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.
These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.
Clearance notes
Factory GS wheels are listed by reconditioned-OEM suppliers as 16x7.5 and 17x8 at ET50. Some wheel databases give ET45 for the same sizes, so check the stamping on your own wheels.
The hub bore is 60.1 mm. Most aftermarket wheels have a larger bore and need hub-centric rings.
Wheel nuts are M12x1.5. Toyota and Lexus factory wheels use a flat-seat nut with a washer, so aftermarket wheels usually need the conical nuts their maker specifies.
The ClubLexus fitment guide treats setups such as 18 or 19x8.5 ET32 front with 10-inch ET42 rears as aggressive, likely needing rolled or shaved arches. A 20x10 ET30 square setup was reported to rub front and rear without arch work.
20-inch wheels with the tyres above are close to factory diameter, but the guide warns that 35-profile 20-inch tyres are too tall and rub at full lock and over bumps once the car is lowered.
We have not confirmed a single wheel-nut torque figure. Published values differ between 103 Nm and about 110 Nm, so use the figure in the owner's manual.
