Honda Integra / Acura RSX DC5 wheel fitment

The DC5 was sold as the Honda Integra in Japan and Europe and as the Acura RSX in North America, all on 5x114.3. The RSX Type-S came on 17x7 ET45 and the Japanese Type R on high-offset 17s, and owners usually move to 17 or 18-inch wheels around 8.5 to 9 inches wide at a lower offset to fill the arches.

Offset range

Check the exact setup

There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.

Common width limit

Measure before ordering

A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.

These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.

Clearance notes

  • Threepiece suggests 17 or 18-inch wheels 8 to 9.5 inches wide at ET25 to ET40 for an OEM-plus look, with 17x9 or 18x9 around ET30 sitting flush.
  • 17x9 ET22 pokes at the front. A Type-S featured by Threepiece on 17x9 ET22 with 255/40 R17 and coilovers has rolled arches and extra front camber; another car on 17x9 ET22 at standard height is advised to use camber bolts.
  • A base RSX on coilovers with 18x9.5 ET38 and 255/35 R18 needed rolled arches and still rubs slightly at full lock.
  • Japanese Type R wheels are ET60, about 15 mm further inboard than the RSX's ET45 wheels. One forum poster lists them as 17x7.5 rather than 17x7, so check the stamping on a used set.
  • The hub is 64.1 mm and the studs are M12x1.5. Use wheel nuts with the seat type the new wheel needs.
  • Check full steering lock and suspension travel with the car loaded. Match wheel load rating, tyre load and speed ratings, fastener seats and brake clearance.
