The Gladiator shares the Wrangler JL's 5x127 hub and 17x7.5 factory wheels, and most owners change wheels to fit taller all-terrain or mud tyres. The usual steps are 33-inch tyres with a levelling kit, 35s on a lower-offset 17-inch wheel with a small lift, and 37s as a full build with a bigger lift and regearing.
Rubicon and Mojave models come on 33-inch tyres. ThreePiece and American Fusion Wheels both describe Sport, Willys and Overland owners fitting the same size on factory 17-inch wheels with a levelling spacer of about 2 inches.
AEV lists its Borah 17x8.5 ET25 for the Gladiator and Wrangler JL with its 2.5 to 3-inch DualSport suspension, 35 to 37-inch tyres and the factory flares. The 315/70 R17 is a common 35-inch size that ThreePiece puts at about 34.4 inches tall.

ThreePiece's Gladiator gallery shows a 2021 Gladiator Sport on Dirty Life Mesa wheels in this size. The gallery doesn't give the tyre or lift. The outer lip sits about 75 mm further out than the factory wheel's.

ThreePiece's Gladiator gallery shows a 2021 Gladiator Sport on KMC Grenade Crawl wheels in this size, without listing the tyre or suspension. The outer lip sits about 100 mm further out than the factory wheel's, so check flare coverage and the rules where you live.
Width and offset guidance
Offset range
Check the exact setup
There is no confirmed range for this car yet. Compare a known wheel with your proposed size and measure both sides.
Common width limit
Measure before ordering
A maximum width has not been confirmed. Tyre shape, ride height and alignment all change the available space.
These figures belong to the setups described here. Combining the widest wheel with either end of the offset range does not guarantee a safe fit. For how ET moves the wheel in and out, read wheel offset explained; for how far the tyre can sit out, see flush, poke and tucked fitment.
Clearance notes
Jeep's owner's manual gives 130 lb ft (176 Nm) for the M14x1.50 wheel nuts, using a 22 mm socket. Check the torque again after 25 miles.
ThreePiece puts the factory wheel at 17x7.5 ET44. A lower offset of roughly ET5 to ET18 is its suggested starting point for wider tyres, to move them away from the inner suspension parts.
For 35s, ThreePiece says a Rubicon on standard suspension comes close with minor trimming and the right offset, while other trims generally need a modest lift. American Fusion Wheels advises a 2.5-inch lift. Check full steering lock and full compression, where the arch liner, pinch seam and front lower control arm mount can rub.
37s need a proper lift. American Fusion Wheels lists a 3.5-inch lift, 4.88 gears and longer brake lines. ThreePiece adds trimming, longer bump stops and track bar or control arm changes.
We haven't confirmed the Mojave's factory wheel offset, so it isn't listed as a stock row. Jeep's manual lists Mojave and Rubicon models on LT285/70R17 tyres.
Jeep announced a 35-inch Launch Edition package for the 2027 Gladiator Willys, Rubicon and Rubicon X, with a 1-inch factory lift and 17-inch wheels. We haven't confirmed its wheel width or offset.

5x127 (5x5 inches), with a 71.5 mm centre bore and M14x1.5 wheel nuts torqued to 176 Nm (130 lb ft).
Do Wrangler JL wheels fit a Gladiator?+
Yes. They share the 5x127 pattern, the M14x1.5 studs and the factory 17x7.5 ET44.45 wheel, so JL wheels bolt on. Check the wheel's load rating if you carry or tow heavy loads.
Will 35-inch tyres fit a Gladiator without a lift?+
A Rubicon comes close on standard suspension with minor trimming and a suitable offset, according to ThreePiece. Sport, Willys and Overland models generally need a lift of about 2.5 inches. The factory 7.5-inch wheel is also narrow for a 12.5-inch-wide tyre.
What tyres does a Gladiator Rubicon come with?+
LT285/70R17 tyres, a 33-inch size, on 17x7.5 ET44.45 wheels. The Sport has 245/75R17 tyres, and the Overland has 255/70R18.
What does it take to fit 37s on a Gladiator?+
A proper lift rather than a levelling kit. American Fusion Wheels lists a 3.5-inch lift, 4.88 gears and longer brake lines, and AEV designs its 17x8.5 ET25 wheel for 35 to 37-inch tyres on its 2.5 to 3-inch lift. Use the wheel backspacing your lift maker specifies.
What wheel size does the Jeep Gladiator JT use?+
Factory wheels are 17 × 7.5 inch, 18 × 7.5 inch and 20 × 8 inch, depending on trim. The stock table lists the offset for each.
What is the Jeep Gladiator JT centre bore?+
71.5 mm. Aftermarket wheels with a larger bore need hub-centric rings sized to it.
What is the Jeep Gladiator JT wheel nut torque?+
176 Nm (about 130 lb-ft) for the original nuts. Confirm in your handbook, especially with aftermarket wheels or nuts.
